discWelder BRONZE - 5.1 DVD-A Basic Authoring

discWelder BRONZE — the easiest, most inexpensive way to produce simple and completely standards-compliant DVD-Audio discs from your high-resolution audio files.

With discWelder BRONZE, you can import all Linear PCM (LPCM) formats supported in the DVD-A specification. These include non–encoded or uncompressed “surround” files, in either WAV or AIFF format:

• up to 6 channels of 24 bit, 48 kHz audio

• two channels of 24-bit, up to 192 kHz audio

Surround and stereo tracks may be used on the same disc, and a discWelder-created disc will play on any DVD-A player that supports DVD-R/RW.

NOTE:

• discWelder BRONZE writes a pure audio DVD-Audio disk without any information on your video screen.
• discWelder BRONZE does not natively support FLAC, ALAC or other “lossless” formats in the current release. There are many utilities available for Windows & Mac OS that will convert from lossless to linear PCM format for use in discWelder BRONZE.

discWelder BRONZE creates DVD-Audio discs. The discs require a hardware/software DVD player that supports DVD-Audio. If you wish to create "Universal" discs that will play on DVD-V player as well, we suggest you review discWelder BRONZE 1000m.
